Ayub Teaching Hospital , Abbottabad, a 1000- bedded tertiary care Teaching Hospital. ATH started working in the year 1995 and gaining the 1000 bedded status in the year 1998.it is a center for Undergrduate and Postgraduate studies in different disciplines of Medicine and Surgery. ATH is well equiped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic facilities and caters for a wide ranged population of millions of patient ranging from Hasanabdal to Gilgit and a part of Kashmir on one side and a part of Punjab to Swat valley on the other side. ATH is an autonomous body of the Provincial Government, being funded by the Govt. of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa. The Management Council comprising of five non official & four official member and the CE AMI is the Chairman of the body. ATH employs more than 500 in-house physicians including 60 residents and fellows and ~200 nurses. It is part of the consortium of hospitals which operates in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and is the primary teaching hospital for Ayub Medical College.
