My recipes are born out of creatively mixing your favorite foods and flavors together or by recreating a special dish shared in memorable places or moments with someone special. Even though you may feel that you have no cooking skills now, all it takes is a little practice, perseverance, and creativity. Providing a meal not only brings others joy and smiling faces, but it touches you much more in return. It’s about the sense of community when coming together around the dinner table and sharing in delicious food and togetherness. Ghar ki Murghi is an enterprise of three murghis. We all have our own specialities and ideas which allow us to make your event/dinner/tea party or even your special treat to yourself even more special. We value above all else healthy and great tasting food that doesn't add to your waistline but also doesn't make you add a whole bottle of ketchup to your plate to remind you that you have taste buds.All our food is home cooked with the healthiest ingredients (straight from our vegetable gardens when possible) and insane amount of dedication. We can also innovate with our heirloom recipes and convert a vegetarian dish into a meat friendly one or whatever else strikes your fancy. We also do surprise freebies (YAY!) if you order more than three items. We also have seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables straight from our home gardens. Currently we are supplying fresh figs, mint, karri pata, aloe vera, and pumpkins. We also have dry goods that include freshly ground rock salt, desi besan, and beautifully roasted and freshly ground (on order) masalas for dahi barras, chaats and anything else you need some spicing up for. We don't order delivery but we do have three bases (Gulberg, Shadman, Defence) so you can pick up your order from which ever murghi is closest to you.

LAHORE CHATKHARA opened its first Restaurant in DHA, Lahore, in 1998. The concept was to introduce popular Street Food into a clean and hygienic environment at affordable prices. The idea was a huge success and Lahore Chatkhara has gone from strength to strength, Mashalla. The Flagship at Mini Market, in the heart of Gulberg, sees a stream of guests day and night! From groups of School and College kids to families and even single workers, who stop for a quick bite, in air conditioned luxury with quick service at reasonable prices. The original Restaurant at F Block Defence Society now offers a full menu with comfortable air conditioned seating. Lahore Chatkhara also has a Cafeteria at Aitchison College with a popular discounted student menu. Lahore Chatkhara has future expansion plans to branch into EXPRESS OUTLETS all over the country and also into EXPRESS MOBILE UNITS. ABOUT OUR MENU Our Chaats evolved from traditional Chaats to a tasty Papri Chaat and then to an exotic Bhel Puri and the irresistible Gujrati Puri. Our Spicy Hara Pani Puri has an unusual exciting kick! We introduced Thalis for the first time in Lahore and developed the Vegetarian Hyderbadi (Indian) Thali branching out into exciting BBQ additions. Our delicious Punjabi Thali and Kandahari Thalis are great favorites with our guests. The juicy Peshawari Chappal Kababs with a rich Nulli Version have a regular following. Our crispy “Masala Dossas” have many mouth watering fillings and superb accompanying chatnis! The Paratha Rolls and one of a kind Naanwich have Afghani BBQ options. There are Lahore Chatkhara Burgers, Chicken Wings and Crumb Chicken for kids. On Saturdays, Sundays and All Holidays Lahore Chatkhara offers Breakfast and Brunch with Halwa Puri Thalis and Hyderbadi Nashta Thalis.
