The Chief Minister maintained this during his recent meetings with delegations of different walks of life. He said that the problems which had accumulated over last 60 years could not be resolved overnight, however, the rapid implementation on Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package will help in addressing the genuine demands of the masses and restored confidence of the people of Balochistan. In a high level meeting, which was presided over the other day by Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, it was stated that the federal government had released grant of Rs. 10 billion for construction of one hundred delay action dams. Another grant of Rs. 10 billion will be released by the government for the same purpose in the next month. The Chief Minister said that with the completion of the project of one hundred delay action dams, the people of Balochistan would witness green revolution in the province and besides resolving the problems of the growers as a result of shortage of water, the project would also improve their living standard. Under the project, he said that the work on 20 dams is being carried out with full swing in different parts of the province while the government has also selected 26 more sites of the province for construction of these dams in the next phase. Furthermore, he said that directives have also been issued for selection of 25 more sites for construction of the dams in the third phase of the project. Provincial Minister Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani while talking on Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package, said that Roti, Kapra aur Makan is the manifesto of the PPP The most popular method for transporting IP packets over a serial link between the user and the ISP. Developed in 1994 by the IETF and superseding the SLIP protocol, PPP establishes the session between the user's computer and the ISP using and the government is striving in this direction with objective to fulfil all commitments, which it had made with the people of the country. The Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani along with coalition partners is doing commendable work for completion of all development projects at the earliest so that the people could get their rights at their nearest, he added. Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani while talking on Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package, termed it a great step taken by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and his cabinet to remove the 61- year- old sense of deprivation of the people of Balochistan. The province of Balochistan did not receive its due rights in the past in shape of the utilization of resources, due share in NFC Award and employment, which resulted in the non- confidence of the province in the federal government and this sense of deprivation had further increased when the dictators ruled the governments in the country. When the democratic government was restored after a long dictatorial rule, the minister said that the President Asif Ali Zardari had tendered apologies to the people of Balochistan on behalf of the federal government about injustices meted to them and later the federal government had formed a committee to get recommendations regarding the rights of the people of Balochistan. The people of Balochistan are a witness to the sincere efforts of the government which included the announcement of twenty thousand jobs for unemployed youth of the province, appointment of Balochistan Chief Minister as the Chairman of Gawadar Project and promise of abolition of the agreements towards SANDAK Project and handing over the same to Balochistan Government. Besides these efforts, the minister said that the present democratic government has succeeded in announcing the NFC Award which was pending for the last 19 years. As a result of the efforts of the Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, the minister said that the province of Balochistan has succeeded in getting sufficient share in the Award with the support of Punjab, Sindh and NWFP Northwest Forest Plan NWFP Non-Wood Forest Product as the Chief Ministers of these provinces realized the grievances of Balochistan and extended their full cooperation and contribution. The implementation on Aghaz-e-Huqooq-Balochistan Package has been launched in letter and spirit, the minister said, adding that the people of Balochistan have started witnessing positive results from the package. Following the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, a committee has also been formed for tracing missing persons, the minister said and added that the relatives of the missing persons have been invited to register FIRs in the jurisdictions of their respective Police Stations. The Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package would not only remove the sense of deprivation of the people, but it would also ensure the progress and prosperity of the province of Balochistan, the minister said.
