Army Burn Hall College is a school and college, operating along English public school lines and situated in Abbottabad, Pakistan, with separate sections for boys and girls. The girls' section is located on Mall Road near the city center while the boys' branch is in Mandian. The school was founded by missionary Fathers in 1948 and since 1977 has been run by the Pakistani Army's Education Corps.HistoryThe school was originally established in Srinagar, Kashmir by the English Mill Hill missionary Fathers. In 1948, a year after Pakistan gained independence from the British Empire, a few of the Fathers moved to Abbottabad with a handful of students and set up the school in a small building, the Abbot Hotel. The Fathers reasoned that if Pakistan was to be a successful nation, it needed men of high calibre and, since the British Empire was built by men who came from the English public school system, the Fathers replicated the same system and promoted sports as a means of character building.More buildings were added to accommodate an increasing number of students and the school came under the control of the Diocesan Board of Education, Rawalpindi. In 1956, a new school building was constructed a few miles outside the town, on the Grand Trunk road. The new building complex had sports facilities and a swimming pool. Its purpose was to provide more room for the seniors and it became known as the Senior Burn Hall, while the campus in the city center became known as the Junior Burn Hall.There were seven sports played at the school; Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Swimming, and Athletics, with inter-house competitions between St Michaels and St Andrews(later renamed St Gabriel's). St Michael's was represented by a black shield with gold border, crossed white lance and sword. St Gabriel's was represented by a lion holding a fiery torch. In 1966 and 1967, foreign experts had come to assist in building the Tarbella Dam and their families stayed in Abbotabad. Two daughters of one of the consultants joined the school and were the first foreign girls to enroll in Senior Burn Hall. Miss Samina Manzoor and Miss Imrana Hameed later became the first Pakistani girls to join ABHC. Foreign students came from Morocco, Egypt, Somalia, Laos, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Kenya, the US and Britain.

INTRODUCTION: Langrial is a beautiful village and the 51 Union Council of Abbottabad District. Langrial has the four weathers though out the year summer, fall, winter, spring. Village Langrial is the central place of its other parts being a Union Council. LOCATION: Village Langrial is situated at 33° 56' 0" North, 73° 7' 0" East. It is situated 24 km in Southeast of the Great Silk Way Root and 32 km on the Lora-Ghora Gali road. It is located with village Gandian in West, village Karhaki in East, village Dubran in South and the village Dana-Tarehri in North. SUBDIVISIONS: The Union Council is subdivided into the following areas: Basgora, Chotala, Dubran, Danna Nooral, Faqir Muhammad, Gali Batgran, Karhaki, Langrial, Lassan and Manjia. Other villages are Kialapain and Basera. RELIGION: All the people of village & UC Langrial are Muslim. CUSTOM: In village Langrial the Eastern custom especially Islamic Eastern custom is practiced. It has two wings one wing contain specials children while other consists of normal children up to class 6th and border line children. Beside giving them formal education we are using different techniques to boast up their cognitive functioning such as fast reading and writing, mind focusing techniques, sharp observational skills, 6th sense both hand writing etc. we work onto improve the child’s I.Q, P.Q, S.Q, E.Q. It is very important that students should have a strong and healthy personality so that they can move confidently in the society and faces the stresses of life. For this purpose we explored their work areas of their personality and provide them Psychological help. We also counselled their parents regarding their child’s problems and provide them a guide line. Our aim is to educate children in novel and interesting way. Our many special students got Government jobs and supporting their families. Our students got distinction in many games such as badminton, athletics on national level and won medals. Recently our special students are selected for Korean winter games and got gold medal. Our slow learner children are giving examination with normal children and securing good marks. Besides these achievements we are facing a lot of problems such as lack of proper equipment inappropriate building, transport problem etc. our majority of students belonged to low socioeconomics class and getting education free of cost or at half faces. We need grant to overcome our problem and do more good marks.
