SherGarh a village or we can call it a small town located on Main Malakand Road. Distance from from Mardan City will be around 25 Km if we go towards Malakand Agency or Swat. Its part of Mardan District and Tehsil Takht Bahi. Its History can be trace back to start of 19th Century. Population of Shergarh is around 25,000 according to latest Election Commission Census. Religion wise 100% residents are Muslims and belong from different casts. Khattak cast is in Majority while other casts from which rest of people belong are Mehmund and Yousafzai. People belong from other casts like Malezai, Ajarr, Parachgan, Lohar and Gujjar are in very few in numbers and they are not local people of Shergarh. Shergarh is basically agricultural area but some how it is turning into a primary business hub between PATA and Settle area.
