Institutions play a vital role in the advancement of learning, growth of intellectual power and flowering of genius. Such objectives can only be obtained when the conducive environment is ensured to carry out pedagogical activities and research pursuits for both teachers and the learners. Alhamdulillah, the University of Sargodha has strenuously taken gigantic strides in this direction and the intake has touched the figure of around 18,000 students in various disciplines.
The high quality education has attracted the students from far flung areas and the turnout in terms of its achievements has placed the University of Sargodha in the top-ten positions among the public sector Universities of Pakistan. Moreover, the academic courses have been tailored to the market needs and are designed to equip the students with the latest developments in their respective discipline. We prepare our students to face challenges of life with courage and dignity and motivate them to become responsible citizens of Pakistan.
I feel highly proud while referring to the academic achievements and the performance of our students in the fields of co-curricular activities. These enviable achievements have deeply allured the pursuers of education to prefer this institution. At present, we have 150 PhD, 151 M. Phil teachers, under their guidance, a large number of MPhil and PhD scholars are engaged in research activities. In our Medical College, 36 FCPS / FRCS along with 2- MRCP and 77 MBBS teachers are imparting medical education to the prospective young doctors. Thanks Allah Almighty the Medical College has shown marvelous results in its early years.
