Abbottabad
Abbottabad is a beautiful valley located in the Hazara division of Khyber PakhtoonKhwa Province (Formely North West Frontier Province). It is located 150 km north of Islamabad and 205 km from Peshawar at an altitude of 4120 feet (1250 m) above sea level in Himalayan region.
Nearby disctricts are Rawalpindi to the south, Haripur to the west, Muzaffarabad to the east and Mansehra to the north. Abbottabad district covers an area of 1,969 km, it has two tehsils, Tehsil Abbottabad and Tehsil Havelian. Abbottabad is the capital of Hazara Division.
Abbottabad is famous for its beauty, pleasant weather, high standard schools and home to Pakistan Military Academy Kakul. Its is also called as City of Peace, City of Pines, City of Schools.
Abbottabad is emerging as a center of business, developing at very fast rate and is one of the famous cities of Pakistan.
