``The Superior College was established as Superior College in the start of 2000 and it is the project of South Asian Education Promotion Network. In the short span of time the Superior College earn a great name due to its quality of education in the city and in 2003 Superior got NOC from the Govt. of the Punjab. After one year it was recognized as degree awarding institute and in 2007 started to open campuses in other cities of Pakistan.``
In the year 2000, when the world was moving towards a new millennium, South Asian Educational Promotion Network (SAEPN) established Superior Group of Colleges under the young, dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate leadership of Prof. Dr. Ch. Abdul Rehman and under the patronage of Late Malik Meraj Khalid (Former Prime Minister of Pakistan). The amalgamation of two purposeful giants proved fruitful and the first campus with the name of Superior College started working in 31- Tipu Block, New Garden Town, Lahore. The ideal mix of team members was selected to run this passionate institution. It was the purity of purpose that in the very first year of its establishment Superior College secured an enrolment of 1,000 students. This was strong evidence that Superior had potential to stay distinguished in the saturated market. Next year the number doubled and then rest is ‘History’. Every year the name started to rise and grew more respected in the eyes of all academic circles. It is registered / affiliated with Education Department i.e. Board of Technical Education, B.I.S.E for Intermediate and University of the Punjab for B.Com and LL.B programs.
In 2001, acquired a new campus to initiate the Computer education i.e. BSc (Honors) in computer sciences.
May 13, 2002, we applied for the Charter status after having fulfilled the necessary requirements of the Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
On January 25, 2003, the College got NOC for Degree Awarding Status, showing tremendous growth in quality education, touching strength of students above 3000. On August 13, 2003, the Accreditation Committee visited the site, and on entire satisfaction recommended the institution for the Award of Charter in faculties of Business & Management Sciences, Computer Sciences & IT, Economics & Commerce, and Law. The college touched the apex of glory showing remarkable growth and started its Law and University Campuses.
February 22, 2004 was a milestone in the history of ‘Superior’, as the Punjab Cabinet approved the Grant of Charter (Degree-Awarding Status) to Superior College in the private sector for providing Higher Education. The bill was tabled in the Punjab Assembly on February 23, 2004 for necessary approval, and consequently Provincial Assembly of Punjab forwarded it to the Standing Committee and College got Charter by Govt. of the Punjab as degree awarding institute after having passed Superior College Bill from the Punjab Provincial Assembly on May 31, 2004.
Year 2005, the Higher Education Commission upgraded our category and we were declared “W†category institute.

In 2007 Superior decided to expand and colleges were opened in Faisalabad, Okara, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan. Here also a phenomenal growth was shown in the first year.
This project underwent great success in 2008, Sargodha campus was opened and in the first year it was a mega success.
Then in 2009 a new college opened in Sialkot. This was not the end, Superior family was still looking for new avenues. Like any success story, Superior’s tale of miracles does not end here; it has been transformed from the fastest growing institute of Pakistan to “FIRST INTERNATIONAL STANDARD INSTITUTE OF PAKISTAN" a unique program of Superior Split Degree was offered for the students willing to seek foreign education and international exposure. This program received great applause and response of the students. Like any success story, Superior’s tale of miracles does not end here; it has been recognized as the first international standard institute of Pakistan and also holds the position of fastest growing institute of Pakistan owing to its Split Degree Program, 21 colleges in multiple cities and degree awarding status in 50 programs.
In 2010 Superior started Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Centre for Entrepreneurship to promote entrepreneurship culture among the young generation of Pakistan. Superior first Job Fair was also held in 2010, in which more than 25,000 people visited and applied for different job. There were 70 local and international companies in the job fair to give the jobs. In 2010 ICMR (international conference on Management Research) on Local and Global challenges was another milestone achieved in Superior journey. In 2010 Superior arranged International Conference on World Statistic Day. In the same year Superior Group of Colleges got 38 positions in all campuses on intermediate board examination. In 2010 Superior family extended by lunching one more campus in Gujranwala. 2010 was the year in which Superior Started BS Electrical Engineering by the approval of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). In 2010 Superior joined Hand with Uppsala University Sweden and signed MOU of Students, faculty and Research exchange program.
In 2011 Superior started its medical Colleges under the Name of Chairman’s late mother which is Azra Naheed Medical College, by the approval of Pakistan medical and dental council. In Azra Naheed Medical College, 100 students got admission in MBBS. In 2011 Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Research Hospital came in to being for the prosperity of Local people. 2011 was the year when Superior decided to expand more and opened 12 Campuses in all over the Punjab. In 2011 joined hands with Beihang University of China and University of Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore (Italy) and signed MOU. In 2011 Superior 2nd Job fair was also held. In 2011 Superior’s New Endeavor came in to reality and on 24th November 2011 Superior Lunched Daily Newspaper Nai Baat to provide reliable information through incredible team. The mission of Nai Baat is “Facilitating Superior Human Being by providing Reliable news for the right decision makingâ€. Daily Nai Baat is an inspiration to rebuild Pakistan. It’s the personification of our patriotic spirit to serve the nation. Nai Baat is publishing from Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan & Peshawar to cover broader spectrum, and to represent every Pakistani no matter where ever he come from.
In 2012 Superior Students’ enrolment reached up to 5, 00,000 in it 50 campuses and its alumni reached up to 50,000. 2012 is the year in which Superior group of colleges lunching its schools under the title of Superior Grammar School & Sprit School System.2012 is the year in which Superior 2nd convocation was held, in which students got their degrees. The journey is however yet going on with the same zeal and rigor….and the legend is to be continued…
