Roots School System Faisalabad, a portal campus of Roots School System D.H.A. 1, Islamabad is a modern, purpose built educational institution of international standards with latest state-of-the art facilities and is spread over 200+ kanals. It is founded by Ms. Khadija Mushtaq, the Executive Director of Roots School System and Roots College International DHA1 campus Islamabad and the CEO of Roots Ivy International Schools. She is the legendary Mentor and Academic Counselor and the Driving Force behind the Phenomenal Success of Roots. She is the recipient of the highest Civil Award, TAMGHA-I-IMTIAZ by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on March 23rd, 2011 in recognition of her Exceptional Services in the field of Education, Youth Mentoring and Counseling and transforming the lives of thousands of students. She is the youngest person to receive this award in the history of Pakistan.
She received the CLAES NOBEL EDUCATOR of DISTINCTION from the National Society of High School Scholars.
She was referred as the Role Model to Pupils for outstanding dedication and commitment to excellence in the classroom and student body. This award recognizes teacher role models who have made a lasting difference in their student’s lives by encouraging and inspiring students to strive for excellence. She is the recipient of the YALE EDUCATOR AWARD 2009 by the Yale University, USA. This award recognizes educators from around the world who have inspired and supported their students to achieve at high levels and who have made a difference in their student lives.
She received an Appreciation letter from MIT, MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, USA for a teacher who has been especially influential in her students’ developments and from the FEDERAL MINISTER of YOUTH AFFAIRS for exemplary leadership and initiative for the youth of our nation. She received the award for the MOST ACCOMPLISHED WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR by the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Achievement Ceremony 2009 and 2012. This award was the first of its kind for a woman who has been successful in a male dominated society.
She also received a SPECIAL LETTER OF APPRECIATION from the President of Valparaiso University, USA and the US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter for INITIATING THE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME to prepare global leaders, preparing students to lead and thrive in a global community.

Roots School System Faisalabad is based on inter-campus student and faculty sharing. It follows future oriented broad-based curriculum following the Maria Montessori philosophy at the early years, International Cambridge Primary Programme, Intel ICT Curriculum and its affiliations with the Edexel International, UK and the Cambridge International Examinations for “O†Level, IGCSE, “AS†Level, “A†Level and the University of London for the undergraduate program with academic direction from London School of Economics and Political Science. This provides a unique opportunity for the students to study in Faisalabad but graduate in London and get the same degree of students currently enrolled in the University of London. The institution can currently educate more than five thousand students having one of the largest entries for “O†and “A†Levels and it is amongst the pioneering institutions of the IGCSE. Furthermore, it is also the only institution in the country that offers the AICE Diploma of the Cambridge International Examinations for “A†and “AS†Level students.
Roots School System Faisalabad offers Montessori, Elementary, Primary, Secondary, High School, GCE O & A-Levels, BSc and LLB. The medium of instruction is English but in addition, Urdu is taught as National Language and foreign languages are offered in German Language in collaboration with Goethe Institute.
