Healthcare of the Surgical patient in this region suffers from the lack of integrated and up-to-date centres of healthcare. Many treatment options available to local patients are limited in scope and often outdated. Regional patients frequently travel to megapolitan areas of Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi, or even abroad in order to seek treatment of complex surgical ailments. In recent years Obesity and morbid weight gain have emerged as the number one cause of prevetable death worldwide, being associated with Diabetes, high blood pressure, ischemic heart disease, sleep apnea and early onset knee arthritis. Our Obesity Surgery Team deals Obesity as both a cosmetic and metabolic problem. We provide comprehensive, customized obesity solutions for each individual patient, suited to their individual situations and requirements.
Our Tumor Board provides Comprehensive Care and planning of Patients with Organ Cancer. In this regard we welcome all local physicians to our bimonthly Tumor Board Teleconference to discuss optimized care plans for their complex cancer patients (by prior scheduling) at no additional costs to the patient or their primary physician/surgeon. This is a pro bono service, aimed at disseminating good healthcare practices throughout the regional healthcare system for the greater benefit of the patients. Even in Cancer care, we believe in minimizing trauma to the patient and offer a variety of minimally invasive solutions, tailor-made to each patient's requirements. These include, but are not limited to, Breast Conservation Surgery for Breast Cancer, Laparoscopic Upper and Lower GI surgery for colorectal and Upper GI neoplasms and various other modalities, which can be discussed in detail, in person.

A unique feature of our ALOSC is 3D image-guided General Surgery. Pre-operative image-guided mapping of the surgical procedure in 3-D virtual space allows precise planning of the intervention, promising to increase the success, and further decrease the invasiveness of the procedure. This information also optimizes access to difficult to reach areas in the surgical space.
We are also the only Unit Offering Thoracic (Chest) Surgery in Faisalabad (including Video-Assisted Surgery).
In order to facilitate rapid dissemination of state-of-the-art skill and surgical expertise in the regional population we offer various options of supervising surgeons from our office via tele-link (TeleSurgery) as well as various customized courses to train surgeons at various levels of surgical expertise.
And last, but not the least, while costs of minimally Invasive Surgical Care are somewhat higher than older methods, we provide our care at a cost that is much less, and compares favorably well with national rates.
