Fazaia Model Inter College Mushaf Base Sargodha
Fazaia Model Inter College Mushaf (FAZMIC) Sargodha is located inside the domestic area of PAF Base Mushaf and has been providing quality education to the wards of PAF personnel, sister services and civilians of the area.
Sargodha is located in Punjab’s citrus zone between two rivers ie the Chanab and the Jhelum. District Sargodha is bounded in the north by Jhelum District, in the northeast and east by Gujrat District, in the southwest and south by Jhang District and in the west by Khushab District. It’s climate is very hot in summer and very cold in winter. The name Sargodha consists of two words, ‘Sar’ and ‘Godha’, ‘Sar’’ means pond or pool and Godha was the name of a Hindu hermit (Jogi). Sargodha enjoys the distinction of being one of the most important Bases of Pakistan Air Force named after Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir (Shaheed) as Mushaf. Sargodha is very famous for producing citrus (Kinnoo). Sargodha is known as ‘Shaheeno Ka Shaher'.
Fazaia Model Inter College was established as Junior School in 1974 and was upgraded to SSC Level in 1992. It was further upgraded to HSSC level in 1994. PAF Modern School was merged into PAF Model Inter College in 1998. FSc Pre-Med and Pre Engg classes were started in 2000. PAF Model Inter College (PAFMIC) was renamed as Fazaia Model Inter College (FAZMIC) in February, 2004.Fazaia Model Inter College Mushaf consists of three sections which include:
Junior Section (Prep to V classes)
Senior Section (VI to X classes)
College Section (XI to XII Classes)
