Chand Bagh School, the first project of Chand Bagh Foundation opened its doors in September 1998 as a fully Residential Public School. It was established by Late Lt.-Gen Ghulam Jilani Khan on the pattern of his Alma Mater the Doon School at Dera Doon, India. The Vision of the Founders was to establish a unique educational institution having its own characteristics and environment, distinguishing it from the day schools, grammar schools, boarding schools or a combination thereof. At Chand Bagh School the entire community of students, teachers and their families, staff, servants and their dependents, live, work and play together, sharing all their problems, anxieties, joys and sorrows. This develops an ethos wherein the School becomes a living and pulsating extended family. Living and working together in an environment which is their home and abode, the interaction between students, teachers and community as a whole helps in achievement of wider goals. Indeed friendliness and mutual trust is a salient feature of life at Chand Bagh School. Great pains are thus taken to select the teachers and to facilitate them in an effective discharge of their duties. Teacher/Student ratio is maintained at 1:12 to ensure individual attention. In addition each boy is assigned to one Master who acts as his tutor, friend and the guide. The emphasis is on more informal relationship between the teacher and boy. Similarly discipline is based on cooperation and common sense rather than authority. Welcome to Army Public School & Colleges System Muzaffarabad. APS was established in 1987 as Neelum Nursery School on a very small scale. Only nursery class was then started in it. No one at that time could imagine that this small sapling would become a strong tree tomorrow. It was converted to Army Junior Public School in 1989. It got upgraded to Secondary (SSC)level in 1999. It was therefore named as "Army Public School. It obtained the status of a college in 2004. it was then renamed as Army Public School & College. In 2005 all APSs & Cs of the country were renamed as Army Public Schools & Colleges System (APSACS) and brought under the control of APSACS Secretariat, established at Army Central Library GHQ.

The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, or UET Lahore, is the oldest engineering university in Pakistan. It is located in Lahore, Punjab. It offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in the disciplines of Engineering, Management and Sciences. UET is a public university and the governor of Punjab is the chancellor of the university. The vice-chancellor is the executive head and manages university functions. UET Lahore has six faculties, containing a total of 23 academic departments with a strong emphasis on engineering, scientific and technological education and research. According to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, UET is one of the top ranked engineering universities in Pakistan. In 2010, UET Lahore was ranked the 281st engineering and technology university in the world by QS World University Rankings. UET also conducts Engineering College Admission Test (ECAT) every year in the province of Punjab.
